They did really well from seed in potting soil to start, so you could give them a try quite inexpensively.

They're such fun- you see the buds but have no idea what the flowers will be, so every day it's a surprise seeing what's there.

They are very cheerful! And fairly undemanding- they don't mind crowding, or poor soil.
