Naart Day 16
Aug. 16th, 2009 03:06 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
After yesterday's effort, I decided to do lazy art. I went to 2 websites & played.
Here's today's contribution to
naarmamo . All my Naart is here, from 2006 to present, divided into galleries by year.
Apple tree and Blueberry bushes done at this website where you pretend you're designing perler beads.

Then I went to http://www.jacksonpollock.org/ to play with splatter art. You have to be sneaky in order to get a screenshot of this because if you move the mouse ink splatters & changes what you want to save, and if you use your keyboard up pops an annoying copyright and signature giving credit for YOUR doodle to the guy who made the program. Pooh. Every time I thought I'd figured out a way to get around that, it wouldn't work the next time I tried it.
But I did get some splatters I liked & then I ran them through photoshop elements. This is Avon's laser probe, cooking a Bavarian Creme donut. Mmmm

This splatter reminded me of a dog. This is alien graffiti which teenage males create by squirting their acids on the walls. This is the gang symbol of the Predatory Poodles.

Same splatter. After much experimentation I made it look like a milk glass ornament on marble.

A bit of trimming and redoing the effect made it look very like a Springer spaniel, I think.

Date: 2009-08-16 07:39 pm (UTC)To cut down on this problem, you have to show proof of age before you can purchase citrus fruit (the gang-squirters gorge on grapefruit so they can build up a good reservoir of acid.)

Date: 2009-08-16 11:55 pm (UTC)I'd gone back to the Adobe Studio Exchange and picked up a bunch more styles, mainly wood and stone types. They're great fun!

Date: 2009-08-17 03:34 pm (UTC)Yay, Springers!
Date: 2009-08-19 12:00 am (UTC)BTW, finally brought Musette in for her first (w/ us) vet visit & vet pegged her breed (or most of) first try. Thank you again for pointing that out to us. She had bad ear infections in both ears (poor kitty having parents who don't recognise this- Mira never had them), but is doing better now & being a good girl about letting us clean & put meds into them.
