The room is coming along. Out of curiosity, I weighed the bag of trash I've collected so far. A bit over 40 pounds.

*sigh* I have whacked it once each day. I tried to put a shoe on just now. No. Now the toe doesn't hurt unless something presses on it, like a shoe.

The swelling went down by the next day. It's mainly sensitive to pressure or being moved. I tried to put a shoe on, and decided it wasn't worth it. Not when there's still plenty of inside work I can do barefoot.
