Date: 2009-06-24 10:59 pm (UTC)Lizards are *everywhere* in So. Florida. I'm grateful I don't have anything larger than the 18 inch Cuban Knight anole (which is shy and totally harmless). There are feral iguanas running around some neighborhoods.

Date: 2009-06-25 12:49 pm (UTC)The secrets to dragonfly pics : 1) If they perch somewhere, they will *probably* go back to the same perch even if they fly away for five minutes. As long as you DON'T MOVE (like lowering the camera) 2) Don't let your shadow pass over them. 3) Don't move close enough to disturb the air around them. If you haven't got a zoom, you haven't much chance of getting a good shot.
